1980's Hofma HM-34

1980's HOFMA HM-34 - Purchased from Joe Rozario of Joe's M.A.C in AmCorp Mall, Petaling Jaya.

Typical secondhand 80's guitar. Needed a lot of work. Truss rod adjustments; Checking, adjustments, and lubrication of nut slots; Adjustments, cleaning, and lubrication of the bridge; Lock down of unstable tremolo system; Checking and adjustments of bridge saddles; Bridge and saddle heights set to very low; Setting intonation; Pickup height adjustments; Checking and tightening of all screws; Conditioning of fretboard; Appropriate cleaning of instrument; Installation of new strings.

Repairs included replacing broken High-E tuner; Replacing missing Low-E tuner's bracing; Replacing broken tone pot; Replacing broken third mini-switch; Rewiring messed up circuitry; Replacing missing top strap button; Replacing dead neck pickup.

Modifications included bolting the pickups to the body for more body tone; Installation of bone nut.
